The Center for Resiliency is hosting the 2nd Resiliency Lecture at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ takes place this Thursday, April 16th, Science Auditorium, at 2:00 PM.
Jesse Thompson of Federal Reserve of Dallas speaks on "Oil and Energy Markets in the current global landscape; from Venezuela to Iran and their impact on the SETX region".
Jesse Thompson is a senior business economist at the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Thompson, who joined the Bank in 2010, performs research and analysis on issues affecting the Houston and Gulf Coast economy, in particular, the issues surrounding area hydrocarbon industries. He also collects information for the Dallas Fed’s Beige Book summary of current economic conditions. He is the author of the monthly Energy Indicator and Houston Economic Indicators. He also contributes to the publication Southwest Economy.
