MISSION
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Administration (ORSPA) at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University is dedicated to advancing the University’s research enterprise by providing strategic guidance, administrative excellence, and regulatory stewardship to foster innovation and discovery that elevate ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University as a leader in Texas and beyond.
PRIORITIES
Strengthen research development and administrative capacity by modernizing systems, synergizing pre- and post-award operations, expanding staff expertise, and proactively presenting external funding opportunities to investigators to support scalable research growth.
Improve annual external grant submissions, with a focus on high-impact, collaborative, and multi-investigator projects that provide meaningful results to the community.
Continue to increase annual research expenditures to position the University as a strong R2 institution with an eye to the future.
Boost research output and visibility by increasing peer-reviewed publications, citations, and national research collaborations across all disciplines.
