INFO FOR SPRING 2026 COMMENCEMENT

Apply for Graduation

Get info about applying for graduation.  Applications open first day of classes each semester. If you try to apply and get "no curriculum found" your department may have not submitted your name. Please allow time for names to be submitted. Keep checking back. If you still receive a "no curriculum found" error after the potential graduating list is due (2 week after applications open) please contact your department for assistance.

Find information such as dates, times and location, ordering your cap and gown, honors graduation and diplomas/transcripts.

Important Dates & Events

  • January 20 - Graduation Applications process begins.
  • January 20 - Students can begin ordering cap & gowns through Official Bookstore website.
  • February 13 - Deadline for departments to submit potential graduates list.
  • March 3 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends February 22, 2026. Transcripts will be available March 4, 2026.
  • March 8 - Last day to order fine quality regalia .
  • March 18 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends March 17 , 2026. Transcripts will be available March 19, 2026.
  • April 2 - Graduation Applications close. Names submitted after this day may not appear in the program.
  • April 6 - Deadline to pay Graduation Fees.
  • April 7 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends March 29 , 2026. Transcripts will be available April 8, 2025.
  • April 10 - Last day for name changes/corrections to be submitted.
  • April 10 - Last day to notify us of change in commencement attendance, if applicable.
  • April 10 - Last date for late applicants to be included in the program.
  • April 12 - Last day to order regalia .
  • April 17 - Last day to register for Virtual Ceremony.
  • TBA - Thesis and Dissertation titles due.
  • May 11 - PDF of Programs available.
  • May 14 - Commencement Ceremony - Virtual Ceremony.
  • May 15 - Commencement Ceremony at 9 am - Colleges of Arts & Sciences and Nursing & Health Professions.
  • May 15 - Commencement Ceremony at 1 pm - Colleges of Business and Engineering.
  • May 15 - Commencement Ceremony at 5 pm - Colleges of Education & Human Development and Fine Arts & Communication.
  • May 22 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends May 3 , 2026. Transcripts will be available May 23, 2026.
  • May 22 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends May 6 , 2025. Transcripts will be available May 23, 2026.
  • May 22 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends May 14 , 2025. Transcripts will be available May 23, 2026.
